The brief from Box Steam Brewery went something like:Keep ‘Clive’, the 50 year old male ale drinker who knows what he likes and can’t be doing with these new modern ‘trendy’ breweries AND attract ‘Rob/Roberta’ - the new wave of ale drinkers, aged between 25 and 35, male and female, who think traditional brews are boring.
So, “Be both modern and traditional…”

The original Box brewery was just a stone's throw from Brunel's famous tunnel. Hence the name of their flagship bitter 'Tunnel Vision'. I wanted to reassert this heritage while giving the core range a contempary feel.
